The size-zero blogger who is eating burgers and donuts every day. This is a story about lives that are ruled by images. It is a story of jealousy and judgment. A story about a perfect me and a perfect you.

For these twin boys, a little sibling rivalry is an everyday occurrence. And no matter how minor the infraction, as far as they’re concerned, each quibble is like an act of war. It’s easy to imagine that for them, every single day is as thrilling as an action movie playing out in their heads. They’re fighting with all they’ve got… and even in dreams, the battle rages on. Our story peeks in on these two boys and we have a chance to look on as they grow.

How difficult is it for young people to stand out? Conosce qualcuno? (Do you know someone?) analyzes a world made of nepotism, networking, and absurdities, with the purpose of making people smile and think at the same time. In a studio, due to a case of mistaken identity, a rookie screenwriter and a producer start a conversation that will bring them to a grotesque and unexpected ending. The short movie is based on true story.

Hannah hasn’t always been happy about the existence of her "Hoo-Ha". She talks about the love-hate relationship she is in with her vagina. She tells us about rashes after shaving her pubic area, and the day she discovered that her playstation controller could satisfy her desires.

A 10-year old boy from a family struggling in poverty wakes up to what seems to be an exciting day. Having only his dreams and determination in his pocket, he goes his way for the first day of school.

Somewhere between fiction and documentary, this video contemplatively follows a group of skateboarder farmers into the remotest parts of the French countryside.

The Story of Characters

China, 2017, 7 min.

Director: Chenchen Zhang, Weiran Zhang

The Story of Characters is an animated short film based on Chinese folklore that tells the story of the Lisu people and their written characters.  Their written characters were recorded on a piece of deer leather and were then devoured by a mysterious beast.  A twelve-year-old child set out on an adventure with his puppy, only to find much more than he was looking for. The pair found out the truth about who the mysterious beast really was.

Casey

USA, 2017, 6 min.

Director: Shanrica Evans

Struggling to articulate her gender dysphoria, recently-mute Casey is badgered into going to a party with her best friend, Ryan. While walking to the party, the two friends witness the physical assault of a transgender woman. Ryan and Casey's friendship is tested when Casey must decide if she wants to stay with the woman or leave before the cops arrive.
